Our own methodology

Traveller DNA

A destination doesn't yet say how you want to travel. That's why we look beyond where you want to go.

Why

No two travellers are the same.
So why should their trips be?

Destination, trip length and budget. Those are the three things almost every travel company asks about, and with those three details you can put a trip together.

But they barely tell you anything. Two couples might both want two weeks in the same country, with the same budget, and still need two trips that have nothing in common. One wants something new every day. The other wants to stay somewhere until the place feels familiar. One thrives on company. The other needs quiet to take anything in.

That's why we want to get to know you as a traveller first. What makes a trip special for you? What gives you energy? What do you expect from a day on the road? What suits you? And what really doesn't?

Everything we learn sharpens the picture a little further. We call that your Traveller DNA.

Not to place you in a category.
But to create a trip that truly fits you.

Let us be clear

What it isn't.

The term sounds like something you could fill in yourself. It explicitly isn't.

Not a test

There's no quiz, no questionnaire with a result and no personality profile that appears on screen at the end. You don't get a typology and you don't get a label.

Not an algorithm

No system spits out a trip proposal. What we do rests on experience, attention and conversation. And on people who have listened long enough to ask the right follow-up question.

Not a box

You're not a segment and you're not sorted into a type of traveller. The picture that forms is yours alone, and it keeps being refined for as long as we work with you.

How it takes shape

Partly on paper.
Mostly in conversation.

Part of it starts with your enquiry. What you tell us about the trip you have in mind, about what you're looking for and about what you'd rather avoid, gives us a first picture.

But the most important part comes after that: in the conversation, in the follow-up questions, in the nuance. In what someone says about a trip that made an impression years ago, and above all in why.

A form can tell us a lot. A good conversation tells us more.

Our methodology

And exactly how we do that, we keep to ourselves.

Traveller DNA is the way we work. What we pay attention to, how we weigh up a wide range of signals and how we get from a conversation to a trip proposal: that's been built up over years, and it's what sets us apart.

As a traveller, you don't need to understand any of it. You notice it in something else: in the questions we ask, in what we don't suggest, and in the feeling that someone is thinking along with you who understands what really matters to you.

The methodology stays ours. The result is yours.

The order

First the traveller.
Then the trip.

Only once we sufficiently understand who you are as a traveller do we decide which local expertise fits your request. And only then does the real creating begin. Together with people who know their destination from the inside.

You know yourself. Our experts know their world. QualiMundi brings the two together.

The next step

Let us get to know you.

You don't need a destination yet, and no dates either. Tell us what you'd like to experience. That's enough to start.
